The "Kick It" Soccer Program - Fall The "Kick It" Soccer Program is an eight-week soccer clinic for local youths. Youth attendees learn fundamental soccer skills, proper nutrition and the importance of team building and self discipline.
The Oakland Raider Experience - Seasonal (Limited) Chaperoned by PAL and local community members, youths begin their "Raider Experience" by attending a private barbeque with other California PAL youths. Throughout the barbeque, former athletes and celebrities stop by to say "hi" and share motivational words. The youths then head off into the stadium to watch the football game.
Basketball Tournaments & Clinics (8 Weeks) - Spring Local law enforcement and community members will team up with youths to compete in a friendly, three-on-three basketball tournament. The Rancho Cordova PAL will also solicit the expertise from area basketball coaches and players to deliver engaging skill-building clinics.
Youth Boxing - Summer
By participating in a supervised and skilled boxing program, youths will have the chance to practice discipline, respect and how to tunnel aggression in a positive outlet.
Junior Giants - Summer The Rancho Cordova PAL will kick-off the Junior Giants program – a non-competitive baseball league. In addition to playing baseball, the program will focus on developing citizenship, reading, writing and team building skills.
First "Tee" Program The First "Tee" Program will expose youths to the fundamentals of golf through instruction and practice. The program promotes character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
